Sim racing is constantly developing, and this does not stop with technology and content: The popularity of some sims seemingly come and go – so we want to keep track of what is going on in the sim racing world. Each month, SimRacing Unlimited takes a look at player and viewer numbers for the most popular titles and presents the results to you – here is what happened in January 2023.
To give you an overview of the developments, we have prepared five graphs for average and peak players, average and peak viewers on Twitch, and finally, view time on Twitch of the six most popular sim racing titles. This way, it is possible to track the development of each of these titles, which may be joined by RENNSPORT soon, in the coming months.
Can Assetto Corsa defend its throne? How are the numbers of Assetto Corsa Competizione and iRacing going to be affected once RENNSPORT joins the fray? These questions can be answered in the future, starting with the data for January 2023.
