Goodbye Honda Dominance? New ACC Update out

While the wait for the next big update continues, Assetto Corsa Competizione has received a small patch to v1.8.21 that sees select vehicles of the sim get a BoP adjustment – which means that one of the most popular cars in ACC might not be the go-to vehicle for many any longer.

The Honda NSX GT3 Evo could be found at the front of many ACC grids for months, being the vehicle of choice for numerous esports teams as well. The v1.8.21 patch decreases the car’s power output at the majority of circuits in the sim, although there are exceptions. You can find them in the changelog below.

Similarly, the McLaren 720S GT3 has been nerfed as well on a larger amount of tracks, while the Porsche 911 II GT3 R sees its lift-to-drag-ratio adjusted. The GT4 class is not exempt from the update either, with the Chevrolet Camaro GT4 seeing a decreased power output at all tracks except Monza.

ACC v1.8.21 – BoP Adjustments

Honda NSX GT3 Evo: Power nerf (minor) from 6500 rpm to limiter on all tracks – exceptions:

  • Paul Ricard
  • Spa-Francorchamps
  • Imola
  • Silverstone
  • Nürburgring
  • Barcelona
  • Hungaroring
  • Oulton Park
  • Watkins Glen
  • COTA

Porsche 911 II GT3 R: Updated lift-do-drag-ratio.

McLaren 720S GT3: Power nerf (very minor) from 7500 rpm to limiter on all tracks – exceptions:

  • Donington
  • Snetterton

Chevrolet Camaro GT4: Power nerf from 5250 to 6250 rpm on all tracks – exception:

  • Monza

Apart from the on-track updates, an error regarding DLC dependencies in Championship modes has been implemented.
