More 2022 content for Assetto Corsa Competizione has arrived: A free update rolled out to the sim includes the liveries from two special events on both sides of the Atlantic. For now, the update is available for PC SimRacers only.
Not even a week after the release of the American Track Pack and Challengers Pack DLC for the console versions of ACC, PC SimRacers get a visual treat: The latest update sees the implementation of the 2022 Spa 24 Hours liveries, meaning the marquee event of the GT World Challenge Europe season can now be recreated with the correct grid – the only thing missing is an updated version of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
The actual 24 Hours of Spa saw a Mercedes 1-2, with Jules Gounon, Dani Juncadella and Raffaele Marciello taking the victory for AKKodis ASP ahead of Maximilian Götz, Steijn Schothorst and Luca Stolz of Team GetSpeed. The Ferrari of Iron Lynx’ Antonio Fuoco, Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra completed the podium.
Meanwhile, the liveries of the 2022 Indy 8 Hour have also been added. As a result, developer Kunos Simulazioni has added the 2022 season selector to the UI, and as a playable championship in season mode as well.
