Yet again, the rumor mill was right: After already predicting the BMW M2 CS Racing and the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II before they were confirmed, and now, Kunos Simulazioni also confirmed the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2 as part of the Challengers Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The Super Trofeo has been contested since 2009 using same-spec Lamborghini vehicles exclusively – like the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2, which is replacing the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo. The car class is already in ACC but receives an update with the new model.
The Super Trofeo Lambo is very similar to its GT3 brother, but slightly slower. Differentiating both cars is fairly easy, as the Evo2 version of the Huracan Super Trofeo sports a distinct air intake on top of its roof.
SimRacers get to enjoy the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2 in ACC starting March 23rd. Two further cars of the Challengers Pack have yet to be confirmed – they are likely going to be the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup and the Ferrari 488 Challenge.
