Simracing.GP has been well-known as a platform for Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione and RaceRoom for quite some time – now, fans of Automobilista 2 can also enjoy their favorite sim on SGP: AMS2 is now available on the platform!
For a long time, AMS2 enthusiasts were greeted with a “Coming Soon” banner next to the sim’s logo, but their patience is now rewarded: The support of developer Reiza Studios’ title makes it possible to organize championships, individual events or series of races on the platform.
Thanks to the extensive and varied content in Automobilista 2, this opens up enormously exciting possibilities – without having to rely on mods. A championship with IndyCars from 1995 and 100 percent race distance? No problem! Organized races with Reiza’s interpretation of a current Formula 1 car, the Formula Ultimate Gen2? That can be set up quickly as well. Whether it’s retro F1, Group C, Brazilian stock cars, or many others, community owners now have plenty of options.
To celebrate the release, Simracing.GP is organizing a launch event on June 1st with a one-hour race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. Within the 60 minutes, a complete 24 hours will be simulated, while cars of the classes GT3, GT4 and GT5 will duel in the legendary Green Hell. Here you can register as interested, a selection of registered SimRacers will then be invited to the event.
