Only a select few have gotten their hands on RENNSPORT so far – press, influencers or esports SimRacers had the opportunity to extensively test the upcoming sim, but a beta is not available yet. However, sign-ups for the closed beta are now open. The first set of keys will be sent out at the end of the year.
When it was announced, RENNSPORT turned heads immediately, stating that it would be developed from the ground up with esports racing in mind while partnering with the ESL. The aim: to create the ultimate competitive racing simulation.
Holding its first RENNSPORT summit in May, the sim has been building up hype ever since. Manufacturers Porsche and BMW already have their GT3 cars in the sim, other vehicles have not been revealed yet. It will be possible to get your hands on RENNSPORT soon, though: You can sign up for the closed beta now – if you are lucky, you could be among the recipients of the first batch of keys before the end of the year.
Half of the keys will be distributed on a first come, first serve base, while the other half will be send out randomly to the rest of the applicants. The open beta is scheduled for spring of 2023, with the final release planned for the end of the upcoming year.
