Revolutionary features meet old favorites: Straight4 Studios is hard at work with GTR Revival, which is going to employ AI-based features that have never been seen in a racing simulation before – all while bringing back old favorites. Even better: You can decide what other series is going to be featured!
The latest Straight4 newsletter did not reveal too much, but strongly hinted at what is to come in GTR Revival: Not only is the name of one of the most popular sims of all time back along with the core of its developer team, sim racers can also look forward to experiencing early 2000s FIA GT Championship cars and tracks in new glory. The circuits were agreed upon quickly, “the title making them somewhat of a given”, as were the cars as they are “obvious choices for the sim that’s being built.”
GTR and GTR2 featured the 2003 and 2004 FIA GT seasons, including their full calendars, meaning sim racers can look forward to classic tracks like Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, or Imola, but also lesser known circuits like Enna Pergusa, Anderstorp, or Zhuhai.

That is not all, however: Straight4 is full of ideas on which other series to include in the sim, but the team could not agree on which one should ship with GTR Revival – so it leaves this decision to the community!
